Terra Madre

Wed, 8 Aug 2018

The Terra Madre Indigenous Food Festival, organised by the International Slow Food Movement, will be held in the City of Turin from September 20 to 24, 2018.

“Food for Change” is the guiding theme of the 12th event dedicated to good, clean and fair food. The conference includes Taste Workshops, Markets, and Forums where farmers and food artisans will be gathering and sharing information and showcasing produce and ideas from their various regions from around the world.

In partnership with Slow Food Swan Valley and Eastern Hills Convivum, young Indigenous Food Ambassadors Peter Roe and Johnnice Divilli from the Kimberley are travelling to Italy with Elders Dale Tilbrook, Noel Nannup and Tahn Donovan to participate in this campaign aiming to change the food system and promote a fair, just and valued way forward for small producers.
