Alex Mijatovic (Chair)
Alex is a retired Private Banker and International Business Development Manager with over 30 years of experience, holding a Business degree in Marketing & Management, a Post Graduate degree in Financial Planning and the Certified Financial Planner Certification. With extensive travel and experience in Australia and overseas in financial services, marketing and business development, Alex has a track record of delivering on set targets while managing key client relationships and growing business sales and markets.
Joan Lim (Vice Chair)
As a policy and government professional for over 18 years both in Australia and overseas, Joan brings substantial experience in governance, policy, project management and strategic planning to the Prepare Produce Provide board. She is currently involved in supporting Western Australia’s Primary Industries with international market development.
Catherine MacDougall (Co-founder)
Chef, Educator, trainer and passionate global citizen. My journey was influenced by my parents who lived in remote areas of the world. Their love of culture and people and the unique are things that influence me today.
Michelle Blake (Secretary)
Formerly a geologist within both the minerals and petroleum sectors. Michelle then moved into sales and marketing, primarily within the oil and gas consulting world, covering Europe, UK and the ME whilst based at Henley on Thames, UK. Re-locating back to Perth in 2001 with a focus on the Asia Pacific and Oceania regions and taking on more Business Development and Project Development roles. Michelle is currently working in various marketing roles across a range of industries.
Harvey Rose, MAIBEF (Interim Treasurer)
Harvey has an accountancy background, but has worked in a variety of roles connected to finance across all sectors of the economy. Harvey has vast experience of running and providing management and consultancy services to a range of businesses and Not-for-profits and for the last 3 years has been operating his own small business consultancy. He currently provides workshop, consultancy and mentoring services through Joondalup Business Association, Belmont Business Enterprise Centre (BEC) and Gosnells Business Station. He is currently Treasurer of an Australia-wide Charity, and has extensive experience of the Not-For- Profit Sector in both Australia and the UK.
Adrian has over 25 years kitchen experience in senior positions in 5-star hotels (Savoy Hotel London, Sheraton Mirage Port Douglas, Rockmans Regency Melbourne) Perth Convention Centre and numerous fine dining establishments. Leader of “Caterlink chefs club” which has 300 members and regularly hosts events to network, fundraise and socialize. Recognized Industry expert in designing and implementation of function and restaurant kitchens and bars.
Georgia Thomas - Fresh Creative Management
Georgia has been working in the WA agri-food sector for over 20 years and in that time has developed an extensive network of contacts across the whole supply chain.
Having completed a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resource Management (Hons) from the University of WA, Georgia went on to undertake a Certificate in Freelance Journalism and extensive training in digital marketing.
Georgia brings many years of experience in managing projects in marketing, events, on-farm research, social media and more. Georgia also has extensive networks with agribusiness and food contacts in government and industry, and has experience in reporting to boards and committees.
In recent times, Georgia has created and executed digital marketing strategies for the new Bravo™ Apple, the WA potato industry, Gascoyne Food Council and the Southern Forests Food Council. Having been involved in a range of projects in regional areas, Georgia has an excellent understanding of the types of challenges faced.
Georgia highly values positive and genuine personal relationships and throughout her career has developed a great deal of trust with all her contacts.
