World Culinary Olympics Fundraiser 2023

Hand painted boots by PPP Youth Ambassadors up for auction at Fundraiser.

Our Prepare Produce Provides Djinda Ngardak Program Youth Ambassadors and participants attended a fundraiser night at Fraser's Restaurant Kings Park on the 19th of November 2023, to raise funds for the National Youth team to attend the next IKA Culinary Olympics in Germany in 2024.

Prepare Produce Provide works closely with Patrick O’Brien, Director of Joondalup TAFE to continue the journey of providing indigenous pathways in Food and Hospitality.

As a part of this process fundraisers for the team are regularly held for stakeholders and passionate foodies.

Our Prepare Produce Provide Youth Ambassadors “stepped up” this year and used their talents to create some magic for the fundraiser event held at Fraser’s restaurant. Youth Ambassador’s Molly West, Rory Charles, Rishaye Shaw and newcomer Margaret Pirgram all participated. Rishaye, who attended the Culinary Olympics in Germany in 2020 spoke about their food journey during that time. Rory shared his involvement in his art, and the importance of working with the Elders to access the right stories. Rory’s art was used on the shirts that the team wore.

The PPP Youth Ambassadors also painted several items used for auctioning at the event.
