With a career spanning award-winning restaurants, destination dining experiences, and hospitality consulting, he has established a reputation for connecting exceptional food with the stories, culture, and provenance behind every ingredient.
As a recognised figure within Western Australia’s food and wine sector. His career progressed roles at some of Margaret River’s most respected wineries before joining the nationally acclaimed Fervor. During his three years with the organisation, Rohan travelled extensively throughout Australia, connecting with first nations communities and elders and foraging native ingredients on country helping to deliver immersive dining experiences that celebrated wild bushfoods, regional landscapes, and Indigenous culture.
Rohan later joined the opening team at Fleur, located within Perth’s iconic Royal Hotel, where he contributed to the venue’s award-winning success and reputation as one of the state’s premier dining destinations. He subsequently partnered with acclaimed distiller James Young to launch Old Young’s Kitchen, playing a pivotal role in establishing the venue as one of Western Australia’s most celebrated hospitality experiences. During his tenure, the restaurant received widespread recognition from the WA Good Food Guide, Gourmet Traveller, and major national and international publications including the Los Angeles Times, Qantas Magazine, and The Australian.
Today, Rohan serves as Brand Ambassador for Mahogany Creek Distribution Company, where he combines product development, education, sales, and industry advocacy to support chefs, producers, and hospitality businesses across Western Australia. Working closely with First Nations suppliers, growers, and food innovators, he champions premium local produce while promoting meaningful Indigenous engagement, cultural respect, and authenticity throughout the supply chain.
Widely respected for his knowledge of native ingredients and emerging food trends, Rohan continues to work at the intersection of hospitality, culture, and education.
