\Winning student teams from the inaugural WA Secondary Bush Food Competition participated in an exclusive industry development experience, ‘From Country to the World: A Bushfoods and Cultural Showcase at Mandoon Estate on August 17th. The funds raised helped send our Prepare Produce Provide team to Turin Italy, to participate in Terra Madre 2026 and deliver a Kitchen Without Borders presentation to a global audience.

Creating Change Through Connection, Culture and Community

The Wildflower Circle Collective continues to grow as a youth-led initiative supporting First Nations young women through leadership, cultural connection, creativity and community action.

In partnership with North Metropolitan TAFE (Balga Campus), students are currently working alongside the Wildflower Circle team to design and develop practical templates and concepts for the Sleep Tight Project.

Western Australia's next generation of culinary talent has returned from Melbourne with outstanding results at the Australian Culinary Federation National Secondary Schools Competition, earning both Gold and Silver medals while proudly representing their state on the national stage.

The WA Secondary School Bush Foods Competition is an exciting and meaningful program that goes far beyond a traditional cooking competition. It offers students and teachers a unique opportunity to explore Western Australia’s rich culture, connect with Country, and engage in hands-on learning that links directly to real-world career pathways.

Congratulations to Tanya, our Head Chef here at Prepare Produce Provide (PPP) for winning the WA Volunteer Award for Excellence in Volunteer Management for 2026. The awards were held at The Westin Perth on Thursday 14th May 2026. We could not be prouder to see Tanya recognised on the big stage.

At Prepare Produce Provide, our programs are all about seeing young people shine—and the recent Djinda Ngardak program in Bunbury was no exception. From the very first day, we watched these incredible participants step into a new environment, meet new people, and embrace challenges with courage and determination.

For the last few years Prepare Produce Provide (PPP) has had the honour of catering for the Ngaanyatjarra Lands School annual Dust Up event in the Western Desert.

Benjamin David Albert Williams, a proud First Nations youth ambassador and emerging culinary talent from Alice Springs, has just returned from a transformative six-week placement at the Osaka 2025 World Expo, where he represented Australia as part of the Global Hospitality Group’s Indigenous Trainee Mission.

Terra Madre Salone del Gusto was held in Parco Dora in the Italian city of Turin from September 26th - 30th 2024. Terra Madre is a global event organised by Slow Food, bringing together farmers, chefs, educators, and activists from around the world to promote sustainable food systems and local food cultures.

On October 21, 2024, we gathered at the Art of Seafood in East Perth to celebrate the launch of Kepa Kwab, a unique non-alcoholic beverage that embodies the spirit and stories of our land. Translating to “beautiful water” in Noongar, Kepa Kwab is more than just a delicious drink; it’s a celebration of the land’s stories, a connection to Indigenous heritage, and a beacon for community empowerment.

In September 2024, Prepare Produce Provide (PPP) made our annual journey to 2024 Dust Up festival in the remote Ngaanyatjarra Lands in Australia's Western Desert, bringing food, knowledge and a spirit of Kutjupanguru nintirringama—learning from others. 

The Prepare Produce Provide team had the honour of supporting two talented Ballajura Community College students at the Australian Culinary Federation National School Competition in Adelaide!

Prepare Produce Provides bespoke non-alcoholic beverage Kepa Kwab ~ (Beautiful Water) was a huge hit when it featured at EvokeAG’s WA Regional BBQ event, commemorating the closing of EvokeAG 2024 on February 21st at the Museum Boola Bardip in the centre of Perth.

Prepare Produce Provide were thrilled to be involved in the Danjoo Koorliny 2024 Djinda Mereny / Dinner Under the Stars Gala Dinner held at Government House Gardens on the 14th of March. It was a magical evening filled with warmth, culture and inspiration.

The Women in Mining WA 2023 Summit was held at the Perth Exhibition and Convention Centre on the 21st of October 2023. Prepare Produce Provide was a part of this wonderful event and were able to showcase our programs – KEPA KWAB Non-Alcoholic Beverages, Djinda Ngardak and 5000Meals.

The Kepa Kwab - Beautiful Water Pilot Program featured at the Hospitality Group Training (HGT) showcase event held at the Pan Pacific Hotel on the 17th of October 2023. The HGT Youth Skills Showcase was a fantastic celebration of youthful culinary and hospitality endeavours.
